Wage war on an epic scale in some of history’s greatest conflicts in Battlefield 1
Battlefield 1 is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. The name is a little confusing, but Battlefield 1 takes DICE’s shooter back to World War One, hence the title. The game is set in the period of World War I, and is inspired by historical events. Players can make use of WW1 weapons, including bolt-action rifles, automatic and semi-automatic rifles, artillery, flamethrowers, and mustard gas to combat opponents. Take part in every battle, control every massive vehicle, and execute every maneuver that turns an entire fight around. Playing the same map on a bright day, in heavy fog, or rain will impact what you see and hear, forcing you to adapt your play style on an ever-changing battlefield. Melee combat was reworked, with DICE introducing new melee weapons such as sabres, trench clubs, and shovels into the game. These melee weapons were divided into two groups: heavy and light. Roam the battlefield and rain fire on your enemy to break their defenses. All-out war never felt so epic.

Battlefield 1 Reviews:
Battlefield 1 is just an introduction to one of the deadliest world events in history, but it is an outstanding, feature-rich package in both its emotional stories and strong multiplayer. EA says designing a game around WWI is a lesson in contrast, and we can see that in Battlefield 1. The next Battlefield takes place during World War 1, not in the modern era or the future like many might have expected. It looks incredible, it's exceptionally exciting and immersive, and it appears to be deeper and bigger than any of the previous games in the hugely popular series. Battlefield 1 delivers on almost every promise made, and it sure is one of the best FPSs of the end of the year.
