Fovos VR is a virtual reality zombie shooting game made and published by OnSkull Games. You know, what surprised me most, was not that they went that far with genetic mutations. Or, that somehow this god-knows-what strain popped out in somebody’s system and started spreading. Nah, that’s child’s play compared to their crazy plan. They tried to hide it. You think I’m joking, right? I wish I was. Truth is, they never stood a chance. We never stood a chance.

Fovos is a post-apocalyptic horror, rail shooter for the HTC Vive, set in a future where an omnipotent AI is taking over human brains through genetic implants. Although a pretty short experience, it kept me 'till the end. A few more guns and types of enemies would make the gameplay more varied and keep players at it for longer. I liked the spooky atmosphere it created and the shooting felt quite nice, popping off the zombies heads. There's a story mode where you get to see all 4 areas of the game and then there's two different wave shooter areas that seem to be endless wave shooter modes. A well executed on the rails zombie shooter with lots of potential. I really looking forward to a more in depth product.
