CrossCode is a beautiful world loaded with puzzles of all kinds. Everything about this game, from the gorgeous SNES-style graphics and animations to the insanely fun and variable combat system tells of how dedicated to this game the developers are. If you can find your center among this storm of separate genres, you might really enjoy this game. The combat is fast, the controls are responsive, and the enemies and bosses are designed in such a way that they are both fun, and often a challenge, to fight. The game is very customizable with focuses on close range long range and magic all at once, and the ability to switch between them as you like. The puzzles are really well designed, and introduce the mechanics really well, usually culminating in an incredibly lengthy puzzle at the end of the dungeon which combines every aspect used up until then. The game is solid and full of content to keep you busy, be it part of the main plot or sidequests. Definitely a must-buy if you're a fan of hack-and-slash or action RPGs.
